The Game Castle Warhammer 40,000

League Rules Summer 2010

Start date: 6/19/10 at 12:00pm          End date: 8/13/10 at 8:00pm

Wild card: 8/14/10 at 11:00am          Finals: 8/21/10 at 11:00am

Army point value: 1500        Cost: $10.00

1)      All players must read the league rules and sign that they are aware of the rules in order to play in the league. Sportsmanship is to be stressed at all times.

2)      Create a list based on the current league point value using the standard force organization. No VDR or Forge World rules. All lists will be verified within 48 hours. If your list is found to be invalid, all games played will be invalid. Any opponents played may be replayed.

3)      All players Must have 2 copies of their list. All players must provide a copy of their list to the store, and have a copy of their list with them when they play all matches.

4)      You may change your list one time prior to your 4th game. The change must be in the same army. Example – you may change the number of Space Marines you have, but you cannot change to Imperial Guard. If you wish to change your list a second time or wish to change to a different army, your prior games will no longer count. Those games will still count for your opponent’s scores. You will have to reenter the league paying a second league fee.

5)      You may use Special Characters as long as they meet the specified requirements (e.g., you may not use a Special Character that is restricted to armies over 3,000 points or under 1,500 points).

6)      All models must be WYSIWYG and Citadel, Marauder, Fanatic, or Forge World models. (What you see is what you get). This means if a model is listed as having a plasma pistol in your army list, the model must have a plasma pistol modeled. If you have a WYSIWYG question, see an Arbiter.

7)      The league will last 8 weeks. You may only play each opponent once for your average.

8)      Players will have to play 6 games in the league to qualify for the finals. The 6 players with the best average score will be automatically entered into the league finals.

9)      At the end of 8 weeks, any player who is not in the finals and has a minimum of 4 games played. Qualify for the wild card tournament. The top 2 finishers in the wild card tournament will be entered in the finals. If someone drops out of the finals a replacement will be chosen from the wild card participants starting with the person who comes in 3rd place.

a)      A win is worth 16 points, a tie is worth 12 points, and a loss is worth 8 points.
