The Game Castle Warhammer 40,000

Winter League: 1500 points

Start Date: September 27th                End Date: December 3rd

Entry Fee: $10

The objectives for the league are: for everyone play in a semi-competitive environment, give you the opportunity to play new against different armies and people, and MOST IMPORTANTLY have fun! We will also be allowing Forgeworld units and armies to add extra variety to our everyday gaming. With this in mind I ask that you bring a competitive “all-comers” army to play with (remember the most important goal is for you and your opponent to have fun!!!). With that being said let’s get into the details of the league!

Armies:

There will be standard army comp. (IE 1-2 HQ, 0-3 Elites, 0-3 Fast Attack, 0-3 Heavy Support, and 2-6 Troops). All lists must be turned in before your first game and will be validated within one week of entry. You can resubmit/ change your list ONE TIME before your forth game! Your army does not have to be WYSIWYG or painted but it must be made abundantly clear to your opponent what is what before the game starts.

Games:
You will have up through November 29th to play league games. There is no time limit on your games or a specific day that you must play. More games are always encouraged! After your game you only need to fill out a small battle record sheet that you can get at the front counter. Your scores will always be updated on the following Wednesday in the store and by Friday online.

Finals:
To qualify for the finals you must play at least 5 games in total. The top eight players will receive an email on the Wednesday before the finals to let them know. The finals for the league will be held on the last day of the league, December 3rd. And will be run Tournament Style on Saturday for the top eight players in the league. If all eight players do not show up then players in the store that participated in the league will be invited to join based on their records.

PRIZES:
After the league finals are over prizes will be awarded. There will be prizes for 1st place, 2nd place, best painted, and best sportsman! They will be awarded after the tournament on December 3rd. If you win a prize and are not there to receive it you will receive an email letting you know what you won and that you can pick it up anytime from The Game Castle. These prizes will get larger and larger depending on how many people we get in the league. SO, BRING YOUR FRIENDS!!!

Raffle:
This league there will also be a raffle for a brand new WARHAMMER 40K BATTLE FORCE. All you need to do to qualify is to enter the league! You will receive 1 ticket for joining. There will also be more ways to get a ticket as the league progresses. They are 1 each for having; a fully pained army, a fully WYSIWYG army, and for completing 5 additional games beyond the 5 to enter in the finals. You can also buy more tickets at anytime during the league for $3 each or 4 for $10! The raffle winner will also be determined after the league finals on December 3rd.
