The Game Castle
Warhammer League
Updated 4/2/08
1) Create a list based on the current league point value using the standard force organization.
No Forge World rules. All lists will be verified within 48 hours. If your list is found to be invalid,
all games played will be invalid. Any opponents played may be replayed.
2) You must submit 2 copies of your list. One will be stored at The Game Castle and you will
keep the other copy. Lists submitted by the start date will score an extra 2 points on their first
game.
3) You may change your list one time prior to your 4th game. The change must be in the same
army. Example – you may change the number of spearmen you have, but you cannot change
to Vampire counts. If you wish to change your list a second time or wish to change to a
different army, your prior games will no longer count. Those games will still count for your
opponent’s scores.
4) You may use Special Characters as long as they meet the specified requirements (e.g., you
may not use a Special Character that is restricted to armies over 3,000 points or under 1,500
points)
5) All models must be WYSIWYG and Citadel, Marauder, Fanatic, or Forge World models.
(What you see is what you get). This means if a model is listed as having a bow in your army
list, the model must have a bow modeled. If you have a WYSIWYG question, see an Arbiter.
6) After the first two weeks zeros will be added to the scores for any missed games.
7) Arbiters for this league – Bill Newman, Aaron Beeson, Joe Kwiatkowski, Scott Abbott.
Games
The league will last 8 weeks. You must play at least 6 games during these 8 weeks. You may
only play each opponent once for your average.
The 5 players with the best average score will be automatically entered into the league finals.
At the end of 8 weeks, any player who is not in the finals, has a minimum of 6 games played,
and has a fully painted army (At least 3 colors and primer is not a color. League arbiters have
final say) will be eligible to play in the wild card tournament. The winner of the wild card
tournament will also be entered into the finals. The Wild card tournament start is at 10am.
Missions will be selected via the posted mission list at The Game Castle.
If someone drops out of the finals a replacement will be chosen from the wild card participants
starting with the person who comes in 2nd place.
Scoring
A win is worth 16 points, a tie is worth 12 points, and a loss is worth 8 points.
Bonus points are as follows: +1 for eliminating your opponents’ most expensive non-Hero unit,
+1 for eliminating your opponents’ most expensive Hero unit (If more than one unit has the
same point value, you only need to eliminate one for the bonus point), +1 for having a scoring
unit in your opponents’ deployment zone and they not have one in yours. (The complete unit
must be in the deployment zone) -1 for not eliminating at least one unit/vehicle (below half and
falling back, or destroyed), -1 for not having a copy of your list and codex (or army list).
Scores will also be taken in painting and sportsmanship on a scale of 1-10. Scores will be
updated Friday mornings, both at The Game Castle and on www.thegamecastle.com
